Once you make your deposit, the deposit money and bonus money will be credited to your account in separate balances. Create an Account

To sign-up, you can do so now by following the process laid out in the Create an Account section. If you already created a BetOnline.AG account, click on the “X” icon on the top right to close the pop-up. This will show you login page. Enter the BetOnline account information you created already.

 

Once you login, you may be directed to the Cashier, if you have not made a deposit already. If you want to make a deposit later you can do by pressing the “X” icon, this time on the top left, to close the pop-up. This will take you to the BetOnline main website. Click on the “Poker” tab to go to the BetOnline Poker web app page for mobile device.

If you are on an Apple iOS device you can play through the mobile web browser. Click on “Play Online Now” to open up the web app.

But if you are using an Android device, you can download the file and install it on your device. Click on “Download Now” to download and install the program.

 

Here you can login with the BetOnline account information you created already. If this is your first time logging into BetOnline Poker, you will be asked to create a username for the Poker Room. Once you create your “Poker screen name”, you will go directly to the BetOnline.AG Poker web app Lobby.

 

Here you will have access to everything you need without much scrolling.

The main selection of game categories will be visible like Omaha, Hold’em, Tournament, etc. Click on these button to go to full selection of games.

 

You will also have access to the Cashier page. Click on the top left menu icon. This will show you the main menu and you will see the “Deposit” button there too. Click on this to go to the Cashier page. Here you will have the option to make a Deposit. Or if you already have money in your Sports Balance, you can also transfer it to your Poker Balance from here. Just a reminder, when you make a deposit it defaults to the Sports Wallet. So if you plan to play BetOnline Poker, you will need to transfer through this process.

As you can see the layout and graphics are optimized for a mobile device screen size. Overall the performance was fast and smooth. There was also no noticeable lag. Since our mobile phones always have connection to the internet, we can play BetOnline Poker at all times.

 

Play on a Desktop Browser

Even though we enjoy the mobile browser version of BetOnline.AG Poker, the desktop browser is a great solution for when you want to relax in comfort, while playing on the bigger screen of your desktop. If you plan to play long hours, you may want to give playing on a larger screen a shot.

This will take you to the registration page. If you need to sign-up for an account, you can do so now. But if you already created your BetOnline account, you can just go to the log-in page, by clicking in on the “Login” button on the top right.

 

This will take you to the main BetOnline.AG website. You will need to click on the “Poker” tab on the menu bar. This will then take you BetOnline Poker website.

 

To go directly to the BetOnline Poker web app from the web browser, it may be a little confusing to get there. On the right side you will see an image button that says “Play Online Now”. Click on the button and you will go directly to the BetOnline Poker web app, which will launch on the current web browser tab.

 

You can use the BetOnline.AG login information you created earlier to access the BetOnline Poker web app. If this is your first time logging into BetOnline Poker, you will be asked to create an Poker Screen Name.

 

Here you will be at the Lobby of the BetOnline Poker web app. As you can see, compared to the mobile browser, the desktop version takes advantage of the extra space by providing more detailed information on each page. When you click on game types, like Hold’em, Omaha, etc the available games will appear on this same screen.

 

If you want to make a deposit through the web app, click on the green “$” icon in the top right corner. This will open up a pop-up. Here you will be able to make deposit. You will also be able to transfer money to your Poker Wallet, by clicking on the link on the left. If you haven’t read the deposit section of this review, you will learn that deposit are automatically deposited into your Sportsbook Wallet. You will need to transfer to your Poker Wallet to be able play at BetOnline Poker.

 

Play on a Desktop Standalone Software

If you enjoyed the desktop web app version of BetOnline Poker, you may be interested in their standalone desktop client. Depending on your computer, some players may find better performance by using a standalone program compared to running a game inside a web browser.

We will go through the Download instruction in the next section.

 

Download the BetOnline Poker Software Client

To download the software, you will first need to go to BetOnline.AG website on your desktop browser. If you are already on your desktop, click on this button.

You will then need to click on the Poker tab in the menu bar to go to the BetOnline Poker sub-website

 

On the right there will be a green image that says “Download Free Software”. You will have the option to download a Windows or Macintosh version of the BetOnline Poker Software, depending on the operating system you are running on your laptop or desktop.

 

This will download the software onto your computer. Once it finishes downloading, click on the executable to install the software. Once the software finishes installing, you can launch it if doesn’t launch automatically.

 

When the software launches, this will take you to the login screen. You can sign-in with the information you created previously to register for a BetOnline account. You will be asked to create a Poker Room screen name, if you haven’t already. This will be your nickname at the poker table.

 

You will now be at the Lobby of the BetOnline Poker software. As you can see, it looks identical to the web browser version for desktops. For some with older computers, they will see noticeable improvement by using this standalone client version compared to the web browser version.

The functionality and features will be the same across all versions of the BetOnline Poker platform. The layout for the games are easy to navigate through the sub menu, when it shows the game types like “Hold’em”, “Omaha”, etc. The list of games will appear when you click on the tab, without refreshing the entire page, making the process appear seamless.

 

If you would like to find out the banking information for your account, click on the green “$” icon on the top right corner. This will open up a pop-up, where you can see information about your balances and bonuses.

If you would like to make a deposit you can click on the “Deposit” button. This will open up the standard BetOnline.AG cashier page through your default web browser. Here you will be able to make your deposit. If you need more information about how this works, you can follow along in the Deposit Money section.

 

When you deposit money into your account, it will always go into your Sportsbook balance. If you want to play BetOnline Poker, you will need to have money in your Poker balance. To do this, you must transfer money from your Sportsbook wallet to your Poker wallet. Once you are done, you will be ready to enter Poker tournaments or games.

 

Deposit Money

One thing to note, when you deposit money into your account, it will automatically go into the Sportsbook account balance. You can then transfer your money from the Sportsbook balance to your Poker Wallet. Once you have money inside your Poker Wallet, you will be able to use your money to enter poker games or tournaments.

Now that we got that out of the way, we will show you how to make a deposit.

 

If you are at the BetOnline web page, on the top right of the page, in the main menu bar, there will be a green tab labeled “Cashier”. Click on this tab to go to the Cashier page.

 

If you are using the BetOnline Poker desktop web app or desktop standalone client, you will need to click on the green “$” icon on the top right corner. Click on the “Deposit” to open up the Cashier page, on a new web browser tab.

 

If you are on your mobile device using the BetOnline.AG Poker web app, you will need to click on the menu icon on the top left. This will open up the main menu. Here you will need to click on the red “Deposit” button. This will take you back to the BetOnline.AG main cashier page.

 

At the Cashier, you will be able to make a Deposit or a Withdrawal. By default you should be at the Deposit tab, if not click on it now. Here you will see the available funding options you can choose from to make your deposit. Some of the more popular options, like Bitcoin, Credit Cards and eCheck are at the top.

Deposit with Bitcoin

As Bitcoin has grown to widespread use over the last few years, it is no surprise to find it as a payment option at BetOnline. As of writing, BetOnline.AG claims that “87% of (BetOnline) customers” fund their account through the use of BitCoin. To begin the deposit process, click on the “Bitcoin” icon.

 

There will be a minimum deposit requirement of $20 when you use Bitcoin to fund your account. The maximum amount you can deposit with this option is $100,000.

 

Here you will enter the amount you wish to deposit. You can enter an exact amount or choose from the predefined amounts of $50, $100, $150, $250, etc. Either way, the choice is up to what you prefer.

Below that, you will be able to enter the NEWBOL promo code if you wish to claim the 100% Poker Welcome Bonus.

Once you are finished, press “Deposit Now”. This will take you to the next step.

 

This will be the final step you need to complete your deposit. On this page, there will be the wallet address you will need to send your payment. You will have a couple options you can choose to send your payment through your eWallet. The first, will be the Wallet address string of characters or second the QR code. Both options require you to use a third party eWallet, that is funded with Bitcoin already. If you choose to use the address, make sure to copy and paste the address instead of manually retyping. On this page they actually recommend using MasterCard, Discover or American Express since it will most likely get approved as compared to a Visa credit card.

 

Here you will need to enter you Credit Card information. The name should match the name on the account you signed up with during registration. If it is your first time using that credit card, BetOnline will ask you to verify identity and account by submitting a Credit Card verification form. Once approved, you can complete your deposit.

Withdraw Money

Once you are ready to make a withdrawal from your account, you can do so at the Cashier. You will be able to make a withdrawal by accessing the Cashier the same way you did in the deposit section. This applies for the mobile web app version, the desktop web app and the desktop client. You will also be able to get to Cashier from the main BetOnline website.

 

For withdrawal options, you will be able to request your payout be sent to you in Bitcoin, Bank Wire, Litecoin and few other options. We recommend you check out the current list at BetOnline as payment options can change.

One of the best options to receive your withdrawal payment is through Bitcoin. There are no withdrawal fees and the payouts will be fastest, compared to some options like Bankwire. There will be minimum withdrawal fee of $20 and a maximum limit of $3,000. You are allowed 1 transaction a week. After you withdrawal is approved, processing time will be from 1 hour to 48 hours. The ideal time to request a withdrawal is at beginning of the work.

 

How to Earn Bonus Points

The term Bonus Points, Comp Points and VIP Points are used interchangeable at BetOnline Poker, but we will use the terms Bonus Point for this review.

When you play with real money from your account, you will earn Bonus Points. This includes “Rake Hands” and “Tournament Fees”.

 

To see your current Bonus Points, you will need to be on the BetOnline Poker web app or standalone client software. Here you will need to click on green “$” link in the top right corner. This will open up a pop-up that is combination of the Cashier and Account information. Here you will see different balances. For the Bonus Points, they will be at the “VIP points” section.

 

Rake Hands

The percentage of the pot that goes to the house is called the “rake”. The amount you contribute to the rake is your “Rake Hand”. At BetOnline the rake is not taken prior to flop for Hold’em Poker or Omaha Poker. If the pot is not called, there will be no rake.

For every cent ($0.01) you contribute towards the rake, you will earn 1 Bonus Point. This money be from your real money balance, not bonus balance, for you to earn Bonus Points.

So if there is a $30 pot with three players in a Fixed limit game contributing $10 each. According to the rake schedule for Fixed Limit, your rake contribution will be $0.01 for every $0.18 that you contributed to pot, with a maximum rake of $2. Take the $10 you contributed to the pot and divide that by 0.18, then multiply this number by 0.01; this will give you a “Rake Hand” of $0.55, or 55 Bonus Points.

The pot rake for most of the game are from 5% to 5.55%. For Fixed Limit Games, the rake has a schedule of $0.01 per $0.20 contributed to the pot, with a maximum of $0.20 to $3 depending on the type of game. While for No Limit & Pot Limit Games, the rake has a schedule of $0.01 per $0.18 pot, with a maximum rake of $1 to $5 depending on the game.

 

Tournament Fees

When you enter a tournament, there will be tournament fee to play at the table. For every penny ($0.01) you pay in tournament fees, you will receive 1 Bonus Point. Your tournament fee must be paid from your real money balance to receive Bonus Point credits.

For example, if you enter a tournament with a $1 tournament fee, you will have 100 Comp Points credited to your account.

 

How this relates to the 100% Poker Welcome Bonus
